Brain Freeze
Have you ever wondered why when you drink a really cold liquid it feels like your brain freezes? Why is the pain in your head and not your throat or belly? Well, I found the answer. When you drink something cold the liquid cools your hard palate (the roof of your mouth near your front teeth). That’s not a big deal. It’s when the hard palate begins to warm quickly the pain sets in. Coughing is said to help, also tonguing the hard palate may reduce the throbbing. So, I had an idea, a invention idea, if you will. If you love drinking cold liquids, but hate the pain the comes with a ‘brain freeze,’ then this product may be for you. The product it self is a thin but strong piece of plastic. It protects your hard palate from cooling down by blocking the cold liquid in the first place. It would somewhat resemble a retainer. Can you imagine a world without brain freezes? I can’t either… what a fucking stupid idea. Just play this awesome game.
